Meet Maria Hormaza
Maria E. Hormaza, Beads Royale owner and designer starter working with arts and crafts at an early age. While achieving success and recognition in the Global Travel Industry for four decades, Maria continued to create custom and unique jewelry designs as a hobby. Upon retirement, she decided to take jewelry making to a higher level, and has developed her award winning style of bead weaving using crochet technique to create jewelry with semi-precious stones, crystal beads and Seed Beads. She now creates intricate patterns for Lariats and necklaces. All designs are unique and one of a kind.
Maria has participated in local and regional Arts and Craft Festivals in Florida and provides custom tailored jewelry for discerning clients around the world. The making of purses, clothing and decor were a hit then. Bead Crochet popularity continued through the 1950's. Fashion trends includes bead and thread crochet, lariats were also in style during the 1920's, they were handmade using Czech beads available at the time. Today in the new Millennium, Bead crochet is becoming more popular, we are able to combine the work with many other beads and fibers. Custom orders are accepted. |
