Meet Claire Closson

BIOGRAPHY
Capturing life's beauty ... one story ... one connection at a time
Claire has been fascinated by photography since she was a young girl and discovered her father’s Brownie camera.
Claire grew up in NE Florida surrounded by natural settings and near the beach, always enjoying it when interesting photos could be captured of her surroundings or friends and family members, including her beloved pets. She served her community for 29 years as a teacher and later a School Counselor and is especially grateful for the strong bonds and connections she made and continues to keep. Claire studied photography at Crealde School of Art in Winter Park, Florida and quickly realized that her love of photography and exploring natural spaces were perfect companions.

Now a full-time photographer, Claire’s artistic objective is to capture the power and beauty of nature, and to present her images in such a way that they tell stories of the spaces and wildlife so important to her and inspire others to make their own connections with the natural world. As a natural extension to nature and wildlife photography, Claire is excited to share that Pet Portraits will soon be added to her range of services. Claire is a proud member of: Professional Photographers of America, Florida Professional Photographers, Orange Audubon Society, North American Nature Photography Association and Southeast Volusia Camera Club.
