BIOGRAPHY
Cathy Gatti Stained Glass Artist My mother and I went into a glass shop one day; she needed to pick up a glass pallet to mix her paints on. While I was there I saw this beautiful clock on the wall. It was too expensive for me to purchase. My mother told me to take lessons and learn how to make the clock. I took lessons and learned the basics of making stained glass art. I then started exhibiting in are shows in the state of Florida and Georgia. Now I only exhibit my stained glass art in smaller art shows. For a few years I taught the art of making stained glass at the Maitland Art Center and the Gateway Center for the Arts in DeBary. My art has been shown in various gift shops throughout the state of Florida. I love creating stained glass windows and gifts. It’s very relaxing for me! I’ve been creating stained glass windows and gifts for 30 years. A stained glass window is beautiful when the sun light shines through it; all the colors shine throughout the room like a prism. |
