BIOGRAPHY
“Capturing the moment” Ann always loved photography which captures the moment to share forever. She began photographing family and places traveled to document the special times. Later, she used photography to freeze subjects to paint at a later date. That’s when the magic of photography aroused her attention and became a passion. The ability to share moments in time and places is an ongoing challenge. Seeing images through the unique perspective of one’s own vision is very rewarding. Self-taught and mostly shooting for her own pleasure, Ann joined several photo clubs to improve her work. She entered several photos in local competitions and always placed. Exhibiting photos in several Trout Lake Nature Center Exhibits and various businesses in the Central Florida area is something Ann enjoys. As her journey progressed, Ann began to experiment more with nature, landscapes and travel photography bringing new life to her images as she tried new perspectives. She hopes to share her visions and spark other’s enthusiasm and appreciation. 1st place in Waterscapes Category in South Lake Art League 3rd place in People Category in South Lake Art League Award of Excellence awarded in college photography by Photographer’s Forum Magazine for photo of cemetery/autumn leaves in New Hampshire.
