Kathryn Davies is a contemporary abstract artist specializing in non-representational works that transform life’s chaos into vibrant expressions of joy and tranquility. Through flowing layers of color, texture, and movement, her work captures emotion and energy, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments. Kathryn’s art journey was sparked by a painting from her former grandfather-in-law’s Inverness Series which first introduced her to the power of abstract expressionism, igniting a fascination with art’s ability to connect beyond words. While recovering from melanoma skin cancer, painting served as a grounding force offering Kathryn a way to process and heal through her creative practice. Devoted to her art practice, Kathryn pours her energy into creating pieces that resonate deeply with viewers. Her work invites people to pause and experience a brief escape from the everyday, guiding them into moments of calm in an often chaotic world. Based in Florida, Kathryn, a fifth-generation Floridian, creates original paintings and series that inspire connection and transformation.
