Artist Statement
I'm Emma, a self-taught 22-year old artist based in Florida. I work with charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, and pastels, never limiting myself to one medium. Custom commissions I have loved to do can include, but are not limited to, house portraits, murals, custom bouquets, nursery art, hand-lettered signs, and menu boards. Flowers are one of my greatest inspirations, which you will see relevant in much of my artwork. I’m particularly fond of hand-sourcing antique frames and giving them new life and always have a lovely collection that I am eager to see as a finished product! Any time I am creating, I naturally tend to focus on something that brings a sense of peace and calm to me as the artist, but in my greatest hopes, also to the viewer. Something that emits stillness through fine art. |
